Note that extensive hand-scissoring, elaborate hairstyles, and hand stripping are time-intensive, specialty grooming services that may require a special price quote based on the amount of time required to achieve the desired style.

I only use top-quality products from trusted professional brands like Nature’s Specialties and Chris Christensen—no harsh chemicals, cheap suds, or mystery ingredients. Every dog gets a shampoo and conditioner combo tailored to their coat and skin needs. Here are some of the options I have on hand:
- Plum Silky Combo: My go-to for most dogs. Smells amazing, leaves the coat soft, shiny, and easy to brush. Most pups love it—and so do their humans.
- Hypoallergenic Combo: Fragrance-free, super gentle, and perfect for sensitive skin or pet parents who prefer a scent-free snuggle.
- Detangling + Deep Conditioning Combo – Adds moisture and manageability to longer coats. Great for floofs who tend to mat or tangle.
- Whitening Combo: Brightens whites and light colors without harsh bleaches.
- Medicated Combo – Helps soothe itchy, irritated skin and supports dogs with flaky skin, excessive dryness, hot spots, or other skin woes.

A Note About Pricing
The above prices for grooming services at Groomed by Krista are estimates. All prices are subject to change at my discretion based on coat condition, special requests, or temperament. If extra time is required for special handling, specialty grooming services, de-matting, or undercoat removal, a special price quote may be required. But don’t worry—I’ll always discuss it with you first!
Flea- and Tick-Free Facility
Groomed by Krista is a flea- and tick-free facility—let’s keep it that way! If your dog arrives with fleas, a mandatory flea bath will be given and a $10 fee will be added to cover special handling and cleanup.
If your pup has a known tick issue, please consult your vet for treatment before booking. I’ll remove the occasional stray tick if I come across one during grooming, but if I find signs of a tick infestation, you’ll be called for immediate pickup and charged for the services completed up to that point.
Pick Up and Aftercare Policy
I’ll call or text you 15 minutes before your dog is ready to go. Most small dogs are finished in under two hours, while larger or long-haired breeds can take up to 3 or 4 hours—I’ll always give you a pick-up time estimate at check-in.
Your dog is welcome to hang out with me after their appointment at no extra charge, as long as we’ve agreed on a pick-up time in advance. Dogs who aren’t picked up by the agreed-upon time will incur a $25 late pick-up fee.
While I don’t use cages, I may place your pup in a cozy, secure playpen for safety after their groom. Potty breaks, fresh water, a snack, and plenty of love are always included.
De-Matting Policy
If your pup has minor tangles, I’ll work them out gently. However, severe matting is painful and unsafe to brush out. Eligibility for de-matting will be determined case-by-case at check-in, with additional fees of $25 per half-hour for safe, humane de-matting. If a fresh start is the best option, we’ll talk about it first—your dog’s comfort and well-being come before vanity!
Drop Off Policy
Please potty your dog before arrival and bring them on a secure leash or in a carrier. Feel free to bring a favorite treat or toy to help your pup feel at home!
I kindly ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes early or 15 minutes late for your appointment. Dogs dropped off outside that window will incur a $10 fee. If you’re more than 20 minutes late, we may need to reschedule.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. I understand that life happens—so if you miss one appointment without calling, no worries the first time. However, repeated no-call/no-shows or last minute re-schedules will be subject to a $25 no-show fee before any future appointments can be scheduled.
Health and Behavior Policy
For everyone’s safety, dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and free of contagious illnesses. I’m unable to groom dogs with a history of aggression or behavior that makes safe grooming impossible. If your dog has special medical or behavioral needs, let’s talk before booking—I’m happy to accommodate when I can.
